Garmin's USB-only Legend C and Mac OS X (Tiger) - part 2

Normally I start VPC 6 and Windows2000 with the Legend C unplugged, see the settings:

Note: I never succeeded with Windows XP . . .

After the plug-in of the Legend C

All fine with MapSource (Version 6.9)

and with img2gps using sendmap20

Sometimes the connection fails . . .

Then I shut off the Legend C and power it on again . . .

If Mapsource cannot connect to the Legend C, sometimes TTQV4 can help. If TTQV4 established the connection between VPC and the Legend C once, Mapsource can use it too.
